March 07 - 08, 2026

Winterthur, Switzerland

Invitation as PDF

Drawing on training methods from Jitsugyodan ( company Kendo ) and leading Japanese high schools, this seminar series focuses on practical seme: learning to read and respond to diverse opponents in both Shinsa (grading) and Shiai (competition). Training is scenario-based, with motodachi actively applying pressure, evading, and countering to sharpen decision-making under realistic conditions. Strategies for facing Jodan and Nito players will also be addressed.

What makes this seminar different?

More practice, less theory

We'll try to keep the explanations short and on point, giving you more time for practical application of seminar contents.

Advanced Topics

Allthough correct Kihon will be emphasized at all times, this seminar will primarily focus on advanced themes and less commonly addressed topics rather than extended instructions on basic Suburi and footwork.

Scenario based training

Instead of turning Motodachi into mere striking dummies during exercises, we aim to recreate the dynamics of real bouts to simulate more realistic conditions for the application of techniques.
